Queer Women's Group

The Queer Women's Group is a discussion group created to support anyone who identifies as a queer woman at Emory. This includes but is not limited to lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Emory community members. This semester we meet every other week on Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m. in the Center for Women. Our remaining meeting for the semester will be on November 29. The co-facilitators for this group are Kayley Scruggs and Lamija Grbic'.

When: Spring 2017: TBD
Where: Emory Center for Women (Cox Hall)

Kayley Scruggs

Hello! My name is Kayley (pronouns: she/her/hers). I'm a senior in the School of Nursing from Jackson, MS. I will be facilitating the Queer Women's discussion group and I couldn't be more excited to share space with other people who share the identity. After graduation, I plan to work as an RN in labor & delivery before I eventually return to school to become a midwife. When I'm not delving into the fascinating world of reproductive health, you can often find me enjoying nature, listening to spoken word poetry, or advocating for one of the many causes I'm passionate about. I hope to meet you soon!
